Last week Sony and Naughty Dog they finally released the Uncharted 4: Legacy of Thieves Collection on Steam and Epic Games Store, thus bringing to PC the collection dedicated to the fourth chapter of the series by Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer.
However, according to the latest data revealed by SteamDB, the game did not win the hearts of PC gamers.
In fact, at the time of writing this news, the game on Steam would have totaled a peak of just 10,800 players, with barely 4,000 of them currently active. These figures pale in comparison to other Sony IP launches that have made their "quantum leap" on the PC platform.
To be fair, compared to other times the Naughty Dog game has had to share the limelight with other thick releases such as A Plague Tale: Requiem, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) and the long-awaited port of Persona 5: Royale. Furthermore, it must be considered that at the moment, the PC platform does not have a port of the previous chapters of the series, making the purchase of this fourth chapter a not exactly farsighted choice for some members of the general public.
Sure, it exists emulation via RPCS3, but it is still an alternative that brings with it some technical issues (configuration, hardware available, etc.) that not everyone may be ready to face.
