“Rockstar Games recently faced a network intrusion in which a third party individual illegally accessed and downloaded secret information from the system, including old images of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar Games' services have not been affected nor will it have any long-term effects on the development of our current projects at this time.
We are extremely disappointed that any details of our next game have been shared in this way. Our work on the next Grand Theft Auto will continue as planned and we will remain more focused than ever on giving you an experience that exceeds your expectations. We will update you very soon and, of course, we will introduce this new game with due methods when it is ready. We want to thank you for your continued support during this situation. "
