Nintendo Switch will suffer a price cut in its standard version, but only on European territory. Let's find out why.

After i rumor of the past few days, at the end the confirmation arrives: Nintendo Switch will suffer a price cut. The official price therefore passes from 329,99 euros to 299,99 for the hybrid version of Nintendo Switch (no price cut for Nintendo Switch Lite therefore). You can find the confirmation on the official website Nintendo.

The price cut is exclusive to Europe only and, as confirmed by Nintendo UK, the change was conditioned by the arrival of the OLED model next 8 October. The new model will in fact be sold at the price of 349€ and, precisely to differentiate the two models, it was decided to make the older version of the console cheaper.

If you don't have the last consul of the Kyoto House yet, this is the perfect time to make up for it.
