Battlegrounds PlayerUnknown PUBGBrendan Greene, Better known as PlayerUnknown, he left Krafton Game Union to form his new studio and start working on his future projects. Green announced that Krafton, the studio currently owned by the PUBG brand, will have a minority stake in his new Amsterdam-based studio.

"I am very grateful to all PUBG and Krafton members for the opportunities that have been granted to me over the past four years" Greene said, “Today I am excited to take the next step on my journey towards creating the kind of experience I have imagined for years. Once again, thank Krafton for supporting my plans, I will reveal more details about our project later ”.

The fact that PlayerUnknown is leaving the studio behind PUBG isn't news that will take many by surprise: in fact, the developer hadn't been actively working on the game since March 2019 and he had already concentrated on designing new systems for building large-scale open worlds.

Obviously this will have no impact on PUBG, which will regularly continue its development in the hands of PUBG Corp and will substantially expand its brand thanks to the new titles of the franchise currently in the works.
