Netflix has released the trailer for the animated film Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild. Will it be better than the recent live action?

The CGI feature will be available on the Netflix streaming platform starting in August 12th, and will be the second cinematic experiment based on the famous videogame series. Less than a month after its release, here's the trailer:

In addition to the presentation video, Netflix also released a press release related to the project:

“Featuring the same setting as the videogame saga, this film takes us into a world where humans, nature and monsters coexist in a precarious balance. A boy named Aiden, who calls himself a hunter, one day discovers that his village is threatened by an Elder Dragon, a monster shrouded in mystery. Looking for a way to save his people, Aiden leaves his home and sets out on a journey together with Julius, an experienced hunter and member of the Guild and its companions. Aiden, the protagonist of the film, is the same Little Boy from Monster Hunter 4 who will later become a Class A Brave in Monster Hunter: World. This is his prequel story. "

Could this be the right time for a really good screen project? We'll find out in less than a month.
