In the past hours Square Enix has finally revealed the official release date of Endwalker, the expansion of Final Fantasy XIV who will go to conclude the story of the current MMO story arc, which began nearly a decade ago.

Naoki Yoshida, game director of Final Fantasy XIV, has in fact revealed at the end of the keynote livestreaming dedicated to Endwalker that the expansion will be officially published next 23 November 2021. 

While Final Fantasy XIV expansions tend to have always been released in summer, Yoshida explained that the team has decided to move the release of the latter in the fall, due to the complications due to forced smart working due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
