It's been less than a year since 11 bit studios concluded the story of Frost Punk with the game's final DLC. The game made an excellent impression on us, as you can read at following link, and today the software house announced the collaboration with NetEase Games for creating a mobile version of the game, simply called Frostpunk Mobile.

The announcement was published via the official page on Steam:

“Paying homage to the unique gameplay mechanics you are already used to, Frostpunk Mobile will allow players to dive deeper into the post-apocalyptic social survival experience. With new features including Roguelike Adventures, Laws and Guilds, Rare Animal Rescue Stations and Character Development, Frostpunk Mobile aims to provide an immersive experience for players around the world, on both iOS and Android. "

In the title, players will take on the role of leader of the last city on Earth and will have to manage resources, resolve conflicts and ensure that the city survives the harsh winter. You will not only have to struggle with the elements but also with your own morality as you are often forced to make difficult decisions.

According to a press release posted on the website of Frostpunk Mobile, the publication date will be announced on May 20. It is not yet known whether it will be available in free-to-play format or by purchase.
