xCloud, an Xbox streaming game service, is ready to land on PC and iOS: a first phase of Closed Beta in fact it will leave tomorrow, 20 April.
The service, reachable fromspecial link, will be available to all subscribers Xbox Game Pass Ultimate who will receive their personal invitation directly from Microsoft, and will support browsers Edge, Chrome and Safari.
"The limited beta is our time frame to test and learn" says Catherine Gluckstein, at the head of the xCloud project, “We will progressively send more invitations to other players across the 22 supported countries, evaluate feedback, continue to improve the experience and add support for other devices. Our plan is to act promptly and open Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to all members in the coming months so that more people have the opportunity to play Xbox in entirely new ways. ”
It will also be an actual debut for xCloud on iOS platform, since the service has remained exclusively on Android since its launch last September. The restrictive policies applied by Apple had represented an obstacle to Microsoft's product, which seems to have found a solution with the use via browser.
