In the last few years epic Games began to use Fortnite and his fanbase for experience new interactive experiences. Even before the pandemic, the software house organized real in-game events in collaboration with various artists and franchises. From movie premieres like Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker up to organizing online mini-concerts like that of Travis Scott.

But with the next event Short Nite, which will take place between 20 and 21 February 2021, Epic opens the doors of its Battle Royale to the animation cinema.

During this event, with a total duration of 30 minutes, 12 animated shorts will be screened on repeat, made by some of the best studios in circulation, with some of these shorts vying for the best animated short award at the Oscar or to BAFTA Awards.

And in case you don't want to organize a Party Royale peaceful to enjoy the evening and spam the new emote Jumbo Popcorn, you will be able to activate the mode picture-in-picture, to be able to participate even during a standard battle royale.
