Cyberpunk 2077 has no peace! Since his arrival, the latest effort of CD Project Red has become one of the hot topics of the gaming world, between console versions not working, repayments and removals from digital stores and even the opening of various class actions by shareholders. In such a situation, the Polish Government has decided to enter the game in favor of Consumers.
The news came through the newspaper Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, where the representative of UOKiK - the Polish Consumer Protection Office - issued the following statement on first phase of the investigation:
"We will check how the manufacturer is working on the difficulties that prevent the game from running on different consoles, but also on how it intends to act in relation to the complaints and the public not satisfied with their purchase, given the inability to play on their platforms at the expense than previously stated. "
After this first phase, the office will decide whether or not to continue with the investigation, which - if they find CDPR guilty of misleading advertising - could force the software house to pay a fine equal to 10% of his annual income.
