In the past few hours the profile Twitter officer of the Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 announced the results of the fundraising for the event that ended yesterday. The most important speedrunner event in the world has indeed managed to collect in its edition of 2021 beyond 2,7 million dollars ($ 2,758,847 to be exact) to donate to the foundation Prevent Cancer.

Despite the fact that the iconic sofa with stage and live audience was missing, given that the event was held completely online due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this has certainly not stopped the generosity of the spectators and the presence of all the speedrunners, who with over 4 days of marathons have collected a more than large sum in one of the most important events for the community videogame in this early 2021.
