Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales would have sold around 663.000 digital copies, which is 70% less than the first title on PS4.

Despite being available on both PS5 and PS4, the stand alone expansion dedicated to Miles Morales hasn't been able to conquer gamers as much as the original Marvel's Spider-Man. According to SuperData, the new iteration of the newborn brand has sold approx 663.000 digital copies counting both arrival consoles, while the title released in 2018 has sold so far 2.2 million copies. A difference of about one and a half million units, certainly not a small thing. Obviously, physical copies will be added to these, but no major upheavals are expected.

Surely the fact that it wasn't a real sequel held back many players from buying, as did the not-so-rosy release period. What do you think, are you one of those who played the title, perhaps digitally?
