During the preshow of The Game Awards 2020 Square Enix showed a new trailer by NieR Replicant, the remake of the first NieR.
The video shows the progress made in development after the first images shown at TGS 2020 courses and focuses on combat. The gameplay offers regular results, with bladed attacks interspersed with magical attacks. The fighting style looks quite different from the original game.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139, this is the full title of the game, will be released on April 22, 2021 in Japan, for PlayStation 4 and XBox One. In the rest of the world the launch will be the following day, April 23, when the game will also be available on PC via Steam.
