Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated games of recent years. The new work of Hidetaka Miyazaki together with the writer George RR Martin is still in full development, but apparently the chief of the division Xbox from Microsoft, the evergreen Phil Spencer, managed to preview the new title of From Software.

During his last interview for GameSpot, the head of the green team confessed to having played "for a while'" to the new IP of the Japanese software house. Not being able to reveal further details on the plot or game mechanics, the good Phil instead spoke of his relationship with Miyazaki and his first impressions.

“For someone who has played all of Miyazaki's games in the last decade, this is certainly his most ambitious game. I mean, I love his games, but seeing some hints of the mechanics he and his team come up with, the setting and how he's working on the story with another creator. I love it."

Finally, he jokingly talked about how the author left the room during his gameplay session:

"I think he does it because I'm a bad player, but when he comes back we'll have a conversation about what I think."
