After the multiple controversies around the world of PlayStation 5 that emerged yesterday, there seems to be some for Microsoft and its Xbox Series X. Watch Dogs: Legion does not seem to keep the expectations on performance.

Reportedly and analyzed by a user on Beyond3D, the Ubisoft title it would not be able to maintain native 4K resolution. Through a simple count of the pixels it would have emerged a dynamic resolution able to go down to 1440p. Obviously everything remains to be confirmed by more careful analysis, but we trust that Digital Foundry will not be long in coming.

Despite the absolute power of the Xbox Series X, Ray Tracing seems to be proving once again to be a very resource-intensive technology. We hope that, with a good job of optimization, even the open world can finally afford the goodness offered by the nVidia solution.
