CD Projekt RED Cyberpunk 2077cyberpunk 2077 was postponed to 10 December, which means three more weeks at CDPR's disposal to work on what will be the usual day one patch. The official reasons for the postponement were not disclosed, but they are easily traceable to the versions for PS4 and Xbox One, which are the ones that probably created the most headaches during the development process. More or less explicit confirmation was provided by a Polish news agency who reported the words of the CEO of CDProjekt RED, Adam Kicinski:

“The situation is different from the previous postponements. The PC game is ready and the next-gen console versions are running well. The company is finalizing the process regarding consoles currently on the market. We are sure we have something extraordinary on our hands and when the game is released, everyone will understand the reason for these difficulties. Don't get us wrong, internally we are stressed on the one hand, but on the other hand we are extremely confident about the product. And we are very happy with what we will propose ".

Kocinski then explained how this postponement will also lead to one rescheduling of Cyberpunk 2077 marketing campaign, which will certainly lead to a slight increase in costs, even if he is still very confident about the public response despite the disappointment for the postponement.
