It is no longer a mystery that AT&T is looking for buyers for Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. The division had joined the company following the takeover of Time Warner in 2018, but it seems that AT&T now has every intention of getting rid of it, especially due to an economic situation that is not exactly thriving. And needless to say, among the possible buyers, the hottest name is undoubtedly that of Microsoft.
The Xbox division has distinguished itself in recent years for excellent acquisitions, such as Obsidian and Ninja Theory, all aimed at the creation of Xbox Game Studios and the consequent production of first party titles for its platform. The possible purchase of WB Games would bring an interesting portfolio of studies, including NetherRealm Studios (Mortal Kombat), Rocksteady Games (Batman: Arkham), Traveler's Tales (Lego) e Monolith (Middle-earth, FEAR).
