In the past hours Netflix through a Tweet on the official account of The Witcher announced the date when the highly anticipated shooting will resume second season from the series based on the fantasy books of Andrzej Sapkowski.
I'm dusting off my lute and quill,
I have some news, some mead to spill:
After all the months we've been apart
It's time for production to restart.
The Witcher and his bard - who's flawless,
Will reunite on Sep 17 August.

Filming was in fact stopped last March, after a cast member, Kristofer Hivju tested positive for coronavirus. But now that the emergency seems to have returned, and the various sets are starting to turn again, the series starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia will resume its production starting from the next 17 August.
According to the latest Netflix news, the second season of The Witcher should land on the platform towards mid 2021.
