The modder community is constantly growing and the latest move by EA it is all dedicated to them as it will greatly simplify their work on mod development for Command & Conquer e Command & Conquer: Red Alert.

In a post on official subreddit, the producer Jim Vessella announced that, together with the remastered version of the two titles, the company "Will also publish TiberianDawn.dll and RedAlert.dll and the source code corresponding to the GPL 3.0 license."

The move was made in collaboration with the game's decades-long mod community and will allow them to "Create maps, custom units, modify the game art, game logic and data". Electronic Arts it also moved ahead, providing the title to a selection of modders, so there will be freely downloadable mods as soon as the title is released.
