In the past hours Activision revealed what the company's plans are for the future of Call of Duty: Warzone, the free-to-play battle royale mode of Modern Warfare.

According to what was stated by the developers in a recent interview, although Call of Duty is now a franchise with an annual appointment, Warzone will also be supported after the release of the next CoDs.

Warzone will therefore be a constant for the future, and as stated by Activision, the title will also be brought to the next gen, both on PlayStation 5 and on Xbox Series X.

We will therefore have to see how much the developers will be able to keep the community attached, through continuous patches and updates, to a game that aims to be a staple in the years to come.
