“As you can read, The Last of Us Part II has been postponed. We are sure this news will be as disappointing for you as it is for us. We wanted to communicate with all of you, in our community, to give you some more information. The good news is that we're almost done with development on The Last of Us Part II. We are currently fixing the latest bugs. In any case, although we are finishing the work, we have been confronted with the reality that, due to logistical problems beyond our control, we cannot launch The Last of Us Part II as we would like. We want to make sure everyone can play The Last of Us Part II at the same time, ensuring that we are doing everything we can to preserve the best possible experience, for everyone. This means postponing the game until the time comes when we can solve these logistical problems. We are sorry about this decision, but we have concluded that it is the best and fairest decision for all our players. Hopefully this is not a long delay and we will update you as soon as we have new information to share. We wish you, your loved ones and your friends good health. Thank you for being such an amazing fan and for your continued support. Stay safe! Naughty Dog ".
