Resident Evil 7 has seen a big change of course compared to the past and, the first thing that catches the eye, is obviously the first-person view. Several times though Capcom he reiterated that this was only an experiment and that the next chapters will return with one classic view, as we could see in the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3.

What we should expect from the eighth chapter, however, could really surprise. A well-known insider spoke, AestheticGamer1, Stating that Resident Evil 8 is in development for about four years, with an output set for 2021. From what he could see, the quality is very high, but there will be one clear break with the past, something that most likely will infuriate hardcore fans.

Furthermore, always according to the leaker, Resident Evil 8 will be a cross-gen title, which will see the light on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Obviously we are faced with just rumor, but if it were all true, we would find ourselves facing a chapter that will make people talk a lot about themselves.
