AMD, shortly after the official presentation of DirectX 12 Microsoft's Ultimate has released a video showing one tech demo of RDNA 2 ray tracing technology.

The demo in question was created using the API and the appropriate tools for the implementation of the technology in question, made available to the latest Direct X. This is therefore a possible result achievable on the new generation console, as well as from next family of video chipsets produced by AMD.

The purpose of the video is merely demonstrative, which is why it does not in any way portray software in development. The result was achieved thanks to close collaboration between Microsoft and the US company.
