Fiera Milano he made known with a Press release and Cartoomics, the publishing, entertainment and comics fair, which was to take place between 13 and 15 March, will be postponed due to new concerns Coronavirus.

The fair will coincide with the Milan Games Week, another event organized by Fiera Milano, and will therefore take place between 2 and the 4 October 2020, in the fieramilano pavilions in Rho.

The decision “Is dictated by the sense of responsibility of the organizers in order to better protect the health of visitors, exhibiting companies and partners, following the rapid evolution of the spread of Covid-19.

The concomitance of these two fairs will give life as reported in the press release, a "An event that will be a reference point for fans of comics, cinema, publishing, videogames and entertainment".

A postponement of the event was foreseeable, given the very determined reaction that the institutions had to contain the contagion of Coronavirus, which has in Lombardy one of the main European outbreaks. Less predictable was the merger with Milan Games Week, which actually gives life to one of the biggest nerd fairs in Italy. In addition, the event will take place in conjunction with the autumn Romics (1-4 October 2020) and less than a month before the fair par excellence, Lucca Comics & Games.

The Covid-19 epidemic is now having important repercussions in Italy too, after which in the previous weeks it had caused inconvenience in many other parts of the world, affecting significantly also the world of video games.
