In a new update on Halo, the developer 343 Industries shared some insight into everything related to the Master Chief universe, including the Showtime TV series scheduled for 2021.

First of all, The Master Chief Collection and Halo 5 both offer double XP from now until the end of 2019. You can also unlock a particular tag in The Master Chief Collection by completing one of these two goals by January 6, 2020:

  • Complete (without leaving the game) 10 multiplayer games and / or Firefight on snow maps;
  • Beat the nominal score in two snowy campaign missions.

343 Industries has provided an update on Showtime's upcoming Halo show, which will see the participation of Pablo Schreiber (Orange is the New Black's "Pornstache") as Master Chief. Production on the show has started and a behind-the-scenes scene makes it clear that Halsey will be present.

The show will be directed, at least in part, by Black Mirror's Otto Bathurst.

An update also applies Halo Infinite, along with some new concept art. The team confirms that the game events will take place after Halo 5.

We remind you that Halo Infinite will arrive on Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC. It will support LAN gaming and present extensive armor customization options.

Halo's next big release will be the Anniversary edition of the original Halo for PC. It will enter beta in early 2020.
