Capcom is preparing to bid farewell to a great figure who in recent years has been especially important for the Monster Hunter series. Shintaro Kojima, in fact, has announced to want to retire to private life and rest, thus leaving the Japanese company.

Shintaro was involved in the development of several chapters of Monster Hunter, from Monster Hunter Freedom to Monster Hunter 2, from Monster Hunter Freedom 2 to Monster Hunter Unite, until it becomes producer of Generations and Generations Ultimate.

There is no precise information on the reasons that led Shintaro Kojima to leave Capcom if not personal motivations, which we obviously respect, despite the regret for a great loss for the company and the sector, at least for the moment.
