Brendan "Plunk" Greene, author of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, announced today its next game called Prologue. And practically this is all that is known at the moment. This is the first title of Playerunknown Productions, the new division of PUBG Corp. Here are your words:

I was given the chance once in a lifetime to offer something new on a global stage. Having a platform to build a brand new experience outside the Battle Royale genre is an extraordinary gift, and I don't want to waste it. Prologue is an exploration of new technologies and gameplay. Our goal with this game is to offer players unique and memorable experiences every time they play.

PUBG Corp announced in June that it was realizing "Original narrative experience" set in the world of PUBG but this project is currently being developed by Striking Distance, their new studio led by Glen Schofield, the director of CoD: WW2 while Prologue, whatever it is, is "an original IP" by Playerunknown Productions. Therefore, it seems that this sentence does not refer at all to the title just announced.

In short, we just have to wait for further information on the matter. In the meantime, take a look at video below even if you understand very little.
