Bungie announced that, starting in October 1, Destiny 2 for PC moves to Steam. For the occasion, a series of Q&A and a dedicated video are available.
- Which Destiny 2 purchases will be transferred from Battle.net to Steam?
Switching from Battle.net to Steam will result in a single transfer of ALL Destiny 2 content already owned by the players. This includes: account, Destiny 2, expansions, silver, Annual Pass, etc.
- Can players now book Shadows from the Deep on Steam and associate their accounts for the transfer later?
Yes. Players can purchase Destiny 2: Shadows from the Deep from their Steam page by now. On August 20, PC players are encouraged to visit this page again to begin the process of pairing accounts on Blizzard and Steam's Battle.net, in order to facilitate 1 content transfer for October.
- What awaits us on Steam on October 1?
Destiny 2 players on PC will be able to continue their adventure with Destiny 2: Shadows from the Deep, the next chapter in the story. New players will be able to take their first steps with Destiny 2: A New Light.
- What happens if I don't register to transfer my guardians to Steam?
Unfortunately, Destiny will no longer be available on Blizzard's Battle.net after the 1 October. We hope to have you at our side in this home change and continue your journey. It wouldn't be the same without you.
