New City-Based Call of Duty Esports League to Launch in 2020
SANTA MONICA, Calif .– (BUSINESS WIRE) -#CWLCHAMPS–The 2019 Call of Duty® World League season concluded with United winning the most prestigious prize in professional Call of Duty® esports: The Call of Duty World League Championship. Through August 14-18, 32 teams from around the world competed in Los Angeles Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4 competitive season.
eUnited captured the organization's first-ever Call of Duty exporting world championship, driven by strong teamwork and MVP skill event Chris 'Simp' Lehr. 100 Thieves, OpTic Gaming, and Enigma6 rounded-out the remaining top four teams at #CWLCHAMPS.
