TheE3 2019 it has ended and, except for Nintendo Direct, which has partly revived things, this edition has been labeled as very disappointing. This has been found even in the very presence of visitors, down compared to last year: if in the 2018 the Los Angeles fair saw a record of visits with 69.200 attendance, the E3 2019 saw "only" 66.100 visitors.
The decline is certainly not drastic, but it is anyway in contrast with the last few years which saw an annual increase in visitors. Most likely the absence of Sony it has influenced a lot, as well as being a kind of E3 of transition to the next gen.
Next year, between PlayStation 5, Xbox Scarlett and who knows, maybe a new model of Nintendo Switch, the E3 2020 could set a new visitor record.
