Virtua Racing e Wonder Boy: Monster Land are the next titles that will enrich the collection rose SEGA Ages starting from 27 June 2019!
The SEGA AGES version of Virtua Racing brings back a glorious arcade classic in an extremely improved edition, with a higher framerate, greater draw distance, online matchmaking (with leaderboards) and a replay mechanic absent in the original version. In addition, the game supports local multiplayer for up to 8 players AT THE CONTEXT, a perfect way to relive the adrenaline-pumping arcade experience with your friends!
The SEGA AGES version of Wonder Boy: Monster Land includes several improvements, such as the "Power Up New Game" (New Game Plus), a function that can be activated at any time, even without finishing the game, which allows you to restart the game after a game over while keeping the equipment. There are also three new challenge modes (the Sphinx and Monster Castle Time Trials, plus the Fire Ball Score Trial), online leaderboards, a replay feature and "Money Hungry Mode". The latter relates to a bug that existed in the original arcade version whereby players could increase the value of any hidden gold pieces by rapidly shaking the joystick back and forth. The bug, by default, in this version has not been fixed; to do so and live a truly hardcore experience you must therefore activate the "Money Hungry Mode"!
Get on board a Formula One single-seater and compete against the best riders in the world in the first faithful reproduction of this arcade classic. Choose between the Normal Race mode that makes you race from 4-5 laps, or put your endurance to the test with the Grand Prix Race mode by completing 20 laps races. The car's performance decreases more and more during the race, so it plans to stop at the strategic pits and go to cross the finish line under the checkered flag!
Wonder Boy: Monster Land
After defeating the king of evil, the kingdom of Wonder Land was a paradise ... at least for a while. Peace was broken when a ferocious fire-breathing dragon struck without warning and conquered Wonder Land with a band of evil, monstrous henchmen, transforming a once peaceful land into a chaotic, monster-infested moor. Realizing that he is the last hope for Wonder Land, Wonder Boy sets out on an incredible journey to rid his land of monsters and defeat the "invincible" dragon.
Virtua Racing and Wonder Boy: Monster Land will be available individually on the Nintendo Switch eShop starting June 27, priced at € 6,99.
