In the past hours Kotaku has reported interesting news regarding the Call of Duty of the 2020, which apparently will be developed again by Treyarch. While the title coming out next fall will be produced by the team of Infinity Ward, and we will therefore see a probable return to the nomination "Modern Warfare", the game coming out in the 2020 had to be the fruit of the collaboration of Sledgehammer e Raven, according to the now routine three-year rotation for the development studies of CoD, but apparently it will not be so.

For reasons still unclear Activision has in fact suspended the work of these last two studios, which were working on a Call of Duty set during the Cold War and assigned the 2020 CoD back to Treyarch, which will therefore only have two years to produce what everyone expects to be Black Ops 5.
