A few days have passed since publication of the trailer by Sonic the Hedgehog, the new Paramount film dedicated to the videogame icon.
Il short trailer has aroused mixed emotions, many of them negative addressed especially to the choice used by designers for the physical appearance of Sonic.
Precisely because of these numerous criticisms, of which one also coming from the author of the famous blue hedgehog, it would seem that Paramount has decided to modify Sonic, as we can guess from the message by Jeff Fowler, the film's director:
Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear… you aren't happy with the design & you want changes. It's going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be… #sonicmovie #gottafixfast ? ✌️

"Thanks for your support. And for criticism. The message is strong and clear ... you are not happy with the design (of Sonic NDR) and would like to change it. It will happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega is fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be ...
So Sonic will probably undergo a new design before the film comes out after the fierce criticism received about its appearance.
