The developer of Anthem, BioWare, announced some changes to the program to release the extra content of the game. In a post on Reddit, the software house announced that scheduled additional content has been postponed, including the main event Cataclysm. Here is what is written:
“10 weeks have passed since the early access of Anthem, although we were quiet in public we worked hard behind the scenes and wanted to give an update on the state of the game. We learned a lot from the moment the game came out, we received a lot of feedback from all of you and worked diligently to improve as many things as possible in the short term. "
BioWare has supported Anthem with bug fixes and additional changes that help "To move in the right direction for the future." However, BioWare has recognized that it still has "A long way to go before Anthem becomes the game we all want it to be".
Looking to the future, BioWare said it wanted to prioritize bug fixes and improve overall game stability.
"The reality is that there are more things to fix and improve than planned. Although this is the best thing to do for the game, it means that some elements of the calendar will be postponed "
Here's what was delayed:
- Mastery System
- Legendary missions - Phase II
- Weekly Stronghold Challenge
- Some events in free play
New information should arrive in due course.
"We want to make sure that everything we add to the game has a purpose and fits our long-term goals: when we have information to share about the above items, we will do it"
However, the study talked about the Cataclysm event calling it a "Great goal" it's a "Important addition to the game" and "Will bring new challenges and rewards and carry forward the history of Anthem".
In short, there will still be a lot to wait to see tangible improvements.
