The entertainment giant Netflix, through a note, announced a massive three-year investment of 200 million euro as regards the development of Italian productions.
According to reports from Kelly Luegenbiehl responsible content "Netflix European originals Italian creativity is very much appreciated all over the world for the quality of its stories and its productive abilities, and therefore the collaboration is born from here.
Giancarlo Leone, president of the Apa (Association of Audiovisual Producers), added:
"the strengthened relations between independent national producers and Netflix will contribute to an increasingly significant presence of the service in Italy and to one international success showcase for Italian productions in the world".
So we expect an interesting collaboration between Netflix and the Italian producers probably born to try to prevent the exclusion of most of the third party content coming soon on other platforms including Disney +.
