Brendan Greene owes a lot to Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, the game that brought him as much as the genre battle royale to the fore. But while they multiply games battle royale, or that at least contain a similar modality, Greene said he wanted to dedicate to another for the future.

Greene talked about his projects for the future during the GDC held in March. He revealed he was at work on a new video game, but did not provide further details, specifying that the project is in the very first steps and it makes no sense to discuss it now. What is known for sure, however, is that it will not be a sequel di Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, and presumably not even a battle royale.

As for the same PUBG, Greene believes that the PUBG Corp team now has enough experience to independently manage the technical sector of the game, thus allowing him to dedicate himself to his new project. Given the recent debut of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds on PS4, the game user è returned to growth - an additional disincentive to invest money and time to create a sequel.
