Three years after the release of Hyper Light Drifter, the independent development studio Heart Machine revealed his latest project. The new game, called Solar Ash Kingdom, was shown through a brief teaser trailer.
If Hyper Light Drifter was an action-adventure in pixel art 2D, this new title will have a graphic style totally in 3D. On the other hand, the color palette characteristic of the independent studio's first work, which uses pink and cyan colors, seems unchanged.
Il publisher of Solar Ash Kingdom will be Annapurna Interactive who recently published others indie game How What Remains of Edith Finch, Gorogoa, Florence e Donut County.
Latest information that can be drawn from this teaser is that the game will be exclusive to Epic Game Store on PC. The Heart Machine developer also confirmed that he plans to release the title also on consoles.
