Street Fighter V has recently introduced in-game advertisements, found within the loading screens, on the character models and during the actual game. Even if such ads can be deactivated, their introduction has not been well received.

Street Fighter executive producer Yoshinori Ono responded to the criticism of this action. In a statement on Twitter, Ono thanked the fans for their feedback, adding that Capcom will continue to consider these feedbacks and think about how to "improve" the sponsored content in the future.

We appreciate and thank our community for providing feedback on the new feature of sponsored content added to the Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition this week. We will continue to collect feedback from everyone to see how we can continue to improve this new player functionality.

In short, the classic standard answer. Advertisements are there, and will remain, resign.
