One of the oldest indie platformers now has a card game. Rival Rush is a head-to-head card game created by the authors of Super Meat Boy currently on display at PAX West.
Designed by Kyle Pulver and Tommy Refenes, it is possible to buy it through their own website. Reading the rules and the cards, it looks like an intense card game 1v1 that puts a strain on the rival by manipulating it through malicious tricks already known to Super Meat Boy players.
Much like Super Meat Boy Forever, the levels are randomly generated. Players use their deck to match the symbols and face the challenges by putting their cards face down on a space. The other player may know what you need to do to go, but he will not know how you chose to do it until the time comes to take action. Take a look at the rules on the site Rival Rush.
