Mass Effect Andromeda was one of the biggest disappointments of last year, you want the high expectations that there were on the game given the membership of a great saga, or the actual low quality of the title, due to so many problems of development and bugs only with the time fixed by BioWare.

And yet, for the producer Mark Darrah, the fault is all of the wrong launch window and, therefore, of four other role-playing games released in March 2017, including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Mass Effect Andromeda was released in a month full of titles, perhaps the most saturated in the history of video games, with five role-playing games in March. For example, it was released in the same month as The Legend of Zelda.

In fact, if we look at the March issue of a year ago, we can find titles like Horizon Zero Dawn (28 February), Never Automata e Ghost Recon, games not properly belonging to the genre indicated by Darrah.

For Breath of the Wild, a Nintendo Switch exclusive in theory should not affect so heavily the sales of a game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, which actually did not happen with the title of Guerrilla Games which, despite living with the masterpiece of Nintendo, has nevertheless been a great success.

Maybe it would be better to do a mea culpa?
