One night (Italian) of great changes at home Nintendo: after about a year as president of Tatsumi Kimishima, at the head of the Japanese company we now have a much younger man, of 46 years, Shuntaro Furukawa.

The news, though arrived without warning, should not be too surprising, since it was known from the outset that Kimishima would have only been in transit after the death of Satoru Iwata; Furukawa had long been part of the Board of Directors of Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, and already for some months was responsible for meetings with stakeholders and the 2016 of the marketing department.

Another president leaves us, that of Nintendo of Europe: Satoru Shibata in fact leaves his position as president and will return to the main office in Kyoto as Senior Executive Officer.

Many changes at home Nintendo, we hope that things can continue to go well as happened since the launch of Switch on; at the moment we can only thank Kimishima and Shibata and make a big good luck al new president Shuntaro Furukawa.
