BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment announced that Masaya Nakamurafounder of Namco in the 1955, died at the age of 91 years last Sunday 22 January. As required by Nakamura the same wake and funeral ceremony was reserved only to the closest family members and the news of his death has not been disclosed until today. The company announced that a commemorative event will be held in the coming days to greet its founder.
Nakamura was born on December 24 1925, he graduated from the Yokohama National University in the '48 and gave birth to the Nakamura Manufacturing in the 55, renamed Namco in the 1977, merge with Bandai in the 2005 and note today as BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment.
In addition to dealing with the company he founded, Nakamura was an honorary member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tokyo and senior counselor of the Japan Amusement Machine and Marketing Association. Our most sympathetic condolences to the family and close friends of Nakamura-san.
